This report is updated every Saturday for the incoming week (occasionally a bit earlier).
PLEASE NOTE: Most activities have limited space and require advanced reservations. Sign-ups begin at the conclusion of the Monday Orientation at approximately 10:30 (first-come, first-served). If you cannot be there in person you may call us at 603-745-9900 and ask for the Activities department (or EXT-470 from in-room). All activities start at designated times, so please arrive early. Schedule is subject to change, may be weather dependent, and may be cancelled for lack of participation or tardiness. Children must be supervised.

9:00AM - RESORT ORIENTATION (free event): Meet the Activities Staff in the movie theater for approximately one hour of information regarding daily activities, resort amenities, and local offerings. Activities sign-ups open at the end of this meeting. Complimentary doughnuts.

1:00PM - GUIDED HIKE AT QUINCY BOG NATURAL AREA: This is a fairly easy 1.25-mile walk (round-trip) with plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities and serene scenery. Even though this is considered an easy walk, you will encounter uneven footing at times. $10 per person.
1:30PM - MATINEE MOVIE - THE WILD ROBOT (free event): Roz, a free-spirited robot crash lands on an unpopulated planet. Rated PG. BYO treats.
2:00PM - KITE CRAFT: Customize and decorate your own kite. Then go fly it! Limited space and supplies. Located in the Fun Factory. $10 per craft.

8:00PM - MOOSE/WILDLIFE BUS TOUR: Join us for an interpretive tour around the region in search of New Hampshire's famous wildlife! This time of year, black bear and moose are very active. However, be forewarned that we may not see anything at all. That being said, your wildlife guide will speak extensively about the different animals and history of wildlife in New Hampshire. Also, be aware that we will be travelling on bumpy back roads at times. Tour lasts approx. 3.5-hours (there is a bathroom stop along the way). Limited space. $15 per person. -

Their education staff will share information about the animals and their ecosystems, then conclude with questions and answers. Located under the carport outside of the Main Lobby.

9:00AM - KAYAK OR PADDLEBOARD AT MOORE RESERVOIR: Experience the White Mountains from a different perspective and get out on the water for 2-hours of relaxing paddling on picturesque Moore Reservoir - the largest undeveloped body of water in the state. North Country Kayak will set you up with all the proper equipment and then you can head out on your own to enjoy stunning views, observe resident bald eagles, and find a private cove or secret beach. Previous experience is not necessary. Choose from single kayaks, tandem kayaks, or paddleboards. Return to resort by approx. 12:30pm. Discounted price of $39 per person ($12+ savings per person exclusively for Pollard Brook guests).
2:00PM - RIVERSIDE ROCK PAINTING: Join us as we take a quick drive over to Loon Mountain for a leisurely walk on the JE Henry Trail. We'll find a spot near the river where you can select and paint your own rock or dip your toes in the water! Plan to hang out by the river for a while. This is an easy trail with some views of the river and surrounding mountains. $5 per person.

2:00PM - UFO BUS TOUR: One of the most famous alien abduction stories in history happened around the corner from Pollard Brook Resort. In 1961, Betty & Barney Hill claim to have been abducted by aliens and can't explain a large chunk of "lost time". We will head out in the bus to re-trace their route on that fateful night. We'll make a few stops including a scenic view in Franconia Notch, the official state historic marker that commemorates their story, the spot of abduction, and a local mural of the alien. Approx. 1.5-hour tour. $5 per person.
4:00PM - MATINEE MOVIE - RENTAL FAMILY (free event): Brendan Fraser plays a struggling American actor who lives alone in Tokyo. He decides to try out for a rental family agency, in which he is hired to play different roles in random people’s lives. This film is rated PG-13. BYO treats.

4:00PM - HOMEMADE CANDLES: Create & customize your own scented soy candle in a mason jar. Located in the Fun Factory. $10 per craft.
4:00PM - ANIMAL "ADOPTION" CEREMONY: Select your very own stuffed animal friend to adopt and keep forever. We offer a number of different woodland animals like moose, bear, fox, beaver, and more (first-come, first-served). Then stick around to watch Hoppers afterwards. Located in the movie theater. $15 per animal.
4:30PM - MATINEE MOVIE - HOPPERS (free event): Mabel has a peculiar power; she can transport her mind into the body of another being. Choosing a specially designed robotic beaver, Mabel goes undercover into the animal kingdom and learns about the lives of animals all around her. Rated PG. BYO treats.

7:00PM - COMEDY-JUGGLING SHOW WITH BRYSON LANG (free event): Bryson Lang has entertained thousands around the world with his creative, high-energy, family-friendly comedy/juggling act. You’ll see: flying sombreros, sharp sickles, huge spinning rings, upside down bounce-juggling, giant beach balls, glo-in-the-dark objects, a tennis racquet and always a few surprises. The Press of Atlantic City said, “…quick-witted comedy with mind-blowing juggling skills, Bryson Lang's act is a sight to behold!". Limited space - please sign up in advance to guarantee your space.
