They vary seasonally by resort and range from supervised activities to resort sponsored excursions. Examples include: craft projects incorporating local nature, sand castle building contests on the beach, discounts on attractions, and escorted tours or suggested itineraries. Arts & Culture The White Mountains are rich in culture. Enjoy live theater at the professional, award winning Papermill Theater (next door to InnSeason Resorts South Mountain) featuring Mainstage Productions of Seussical & Westside Story and Children’s Theatre. Or you can plan a musical outing to Meadowbrook in Gilford, or the Blues Festival, or visit the Ski Museum. Always be sure to check with your Front Desk Staff for updates on local entertainment and museum hours.

Family Fun You have picked the perfect getaway for family fun. There are endless outdoor activities from skiing to hiking and fishing. Spend a day at the Water Park or take a gondola ride to the top of a mountain. Go horseback riding, or try the brand new Zip Line Tours. Activities for children are endless – visit bears or Santa – or just spend a day at the pool.
Historic Sites
Historic Sites Like all of New England New Hampshire and the White Mountains are rich in History. Real history buffs will want to explore Heritage New Hampshire in Glen, or The Robert Frost Place in Franconia, or visit the Village Shops and check out the photo history of the old Franconia Papermill. And everyone will want to drive up to Franconia Notch to see the Old Man of the Mountain Historic Site.
Outdoor Recreation
Outdoor Recreation This is the great outdoors. Ski lovers know it. Snowmobilers love it. Motorcyclists come from around the world to drive the scenic mountain roads. Families, couples and singles all find activities, all year round. Supervised Moose Tours or a leisurely walk through the Flume gorge, you set your own pace and your own limits. Try the new Zip Line Tour if you love adventure.
Scenic Drives
Scenic Drives Undoubtedly the most scenic route in Mountain Country, the Kancamagus (kan-ca-mä-gus) Highway (Rt. 112) stretches from the Pemigewasset River at Lincoln in the west 34 1/2 miles to Conway in the east. Spectacular views abound and scenic stops provided. In the winter you’ll want to drive up to Bethlehem to the Rocks Estate and gather your own Christmas Tree. The perfect holiday experience.

Shopping Start next door to InnSeason Resorts South Mountain at The Village Shops. You’ll find unique furnishings, gifts and jewelry - pieces you simply will not find anywhere else. For those who love Outlet Shopping the Tanger Outlets are just down Rte. 93 in Tilton, or across the Kanc (see above) you’ll discover the bargain haven of North Conway with its factory outlet stores.
