We understand that sometimes you aren’t able to vacation every year or aren’t able
to use up all your points in just one year. For that reason, we allow our owners
to accrue (roll-over) their points for one year.
What does that mean? As an owner, your points
are “live” for one calendar year, January 1st through December 31st. On January
1st of the next year, whatever points aren’t used, expire. However, if you accrue your points,
they will not expire, but roll-over into the next calendar year. For example, on
December 31, 2008, your account shows that you have 50,000 of your 110,000 points
remaining. If you choose to accrue them, those 50,000 points will then expire on
12/31/09.
You may only accrue your points for one year. So if you roll your 2008 balance into
2009 and still have 2008 points at the end of 2009, they will still expire on December
31st. You will not be able to roll those points over again. You will however, be
able to roll over your 2009 points balance to 2010.
How do I accrue my points? You can go online
to www.innseason.com and
log into the Owner’s Inn to access the Accrual Form. The form must be received by
August 31st to accrue 100% of your point balance on December 31st. If the form is
received on September 1st or later, you will only be able to accrue 50% of your
point balance. If we do not receive a form (a letter or email works too), your points
will not be accrued and any remaining points in your account will expire on December
31st. We suggest that you send in an accrual form even if you aren’t sure you’ll
have a balance at the end of the year. Better to have it on file just in case than
see those points expire at the end of the year!
How do I use my accrued points? Accrued
points can be used within a 60 day booking window. For example if you want to book
a reservation for May, you may call 2 months (March) prior to the requested check-in
date and book using your accrued points. You can also use them to book through Interval
International as long as you are booking within 59 days of your arrival. If you
call to book and have accrued points in your account and are within the 59 day booking
window, your accrued points will automatically be used first.
